About Miss Bolin
Hello! My name is Ashley Bolin and I teach first grade at Lexington Elementary. This is my fourth year at Lexington. I was born and raised in Normal, Illinois. Growing up, I attended Unit 5 schools. I attended Fairview Elementary, Kingsley Junior High, and Normal Community High School. In May 2017, I graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Communication Sciences & Disorders. I am currently going back to ISU for a Master's in Teaching & Learning.

I currently live in Lexington. I am fortunate to still live close to my family. I have one younger brother named Nick who has autism. Although difficult at times, my brother has taught me so much about life and it's possibilities. He is currently attending Heartland Community College. I have a cat, Annie, and two dogs, Misty and Autumn. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, boating, and traveling. This year is going to be so much fun and I can't wait to see how it unfolds!
